The Neurodiagnostics Program at Nationwide Children's Hospital provides testing of the brain, spinal cord and peripheral nervous system. The section provides routine and long-term EEG testing, Evoked Potentials and Ambulatory EEG. We work closely with neurologists and the various departments of Nationwide Children's to provide comprehensive services to patients with disease or injury of the nervous system.
The Neurodiagnostics Program provides diagnostic testing for the following diagnoses or conditions:
Acute Onset of Stupor/Coma
Acute Paralysis or Hemiparesis
Congenital anomalies of the CNS
Movement Disorders
Neurodegenerative Diseases
Traumatic Brain Injury
Traumatic Spinal Cord Injury
Services within the Neurodiagnostics Program include:
EEG (Routine, Extended, Day, All Day, Overnight Long Term Monitoring, Cortical
Grid Monitoring, Electrocorticography, Ambulatory EEG)
EMG
Evoked Potentials (Brainstem Auditory Evoked Response, Somatosensory
Evoked Response, visual Evoked response)
Intraoperative Evoked Potential Monitoring
