Biography

Mark A. Klebanoff, MD, MPH is a Principal Investigator in the Center for Perinatal Research at the Research Institute, and Professor of Pediatrics and of Obstetrics and Gynecology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Dr. Klebanoff is an epidemiologist, and is Director of the Ohio Perinatal Research Network. His research focuses on the etiology and prognosis of preterm birth, the etiology and prevention of pregnancy complications, and the epidemiology of female reproductive tract infections. Dr. Klebanoff is past president of the Society for Pediatric and Perinatal Epidemiologic Research and is currently an Editor of the American Journal of Epidemiology.
