Nutrition & Fitness Resources
The Center for Healthy Weight and Nutrition has developed several tools intended to provide primary care physicians with practical guidance on the approach to the obese child.
Our Primary Care Pocket Guide is based upon the most recent literature contained in the "Expert Committee Recommendations on the Prevention, Assessment, and Treatment of Child and Adolescent Overweight and Obesity." In addition to the guide, we have created a poster for your office and informational handouts for you to share with your families.

Currently, the Center for Healthy Weight and Nutrition only accepts patients with a BMI of 95% and above. If your child does not meet that requirement, we cannot schedule an appointment. However, we understand you have a child that needs help. Please find resources below that will assist in managing your child’s needs.
