Biography

Leena Nahata, MD, is a pediatric physician in the Section of Endocrinology, Metabolism & Diabetes and has immense experience as a past clinical assistant professor and attending physician at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. After graduating Cum Laude from The Ohio State University College of Medicine, Dr. Nahata was an intern and resident in pediatrics at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. In 2010, she became a fellow in endocrinology at Harvard Medical School, while serving as an Assistant in Medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital in 2013. Dr. Nahata has received the House Officer Development Award and is a professional member of The Endocrine Society and Pediatric Endocrine Society. Dr. Nahata also joined the Center for Biobehavioral Health in The Research Institute at Nationwide Children's as a faculty member in April 2016.
