Injury Prevention Programs :: Nationwide Children's Hospital

Performance & Prevention Programs

Our Sports Performance and Prevention Programs are designed to keep young athletes healthy and playing the sports they love at a high level.

The program is designed for healthy individuals, age 10 and older, and those that have had lower extremity injuries and are returning to sport and physical activity. We will focus on skills and drills that are specifically designed to transfer proper mechanics and body control into sports-specific fundamentals to enhance performance.

Our staff are trained experts in the unique needs of student athletes — from little league to Professional-level play. Our athletic trainers are dually credentialed as Licensed Athletic Trainers and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialists. This experience is vital for knowing how to help your student athlete’s body adapt to the stresses placed upon it — safely.
