At Nationwide Children's Hospital, our entire team works together in their unique roles along side of parents and families to help provide the best possible care.
The Care Team
Medical Director: Guides the team, consults with the child's primary care physician, assists with meidcal and ethical issues.
Nurses: Assist with pain control, symptom management and quality of life.
Social Workers: Provide counseling, family support and community referrals.
Chaplain: Provides spiritual counseling, assists with funeral planning.
Pharmacist: Provides advice and management regarding drug therapies.
Volunteers: Provide support to patients, siblings and parents.
