The Government Relations Department advocates for public policy involving child health and facilitates Children’s Hospital’s interactions with public officials by employing a variety of advocacy efforts including:
Creating programming and educational materials to keep hospital employees and friends updated on child health issues
Overseeing the Children’s Action Network, a grassroots advocacy network
Supplying information on how to contact and communicate with public officials
Meeting with legislators in Washington, D.C. and the Ohio Statehouse to discuss and develop child health policy
Facilitating tours for public officials and staff who wish to visit Children’s Hospital
