Compliance Tip of the Week- Media Requests
There are many reasons members of the media might be interested in The Research Institute, ranging from positive perspectives on our ground-breaking discoveries to potentially damaging stories spurred by animal rights activists.
Regardless of the underlying reason, if you are contacted directly by a member of the media, it is important that you direct that person to the Marketing and Public Relations Department at 355-0495. It is a Nationwide Children’s Hospital policy that all media representatives must work through Marketing and Public Relations to schedule interviews or request information. This policy safeguards faculty and staff by triaging media requests to ensure the best response is delivered and/or the best person can address questions.
