Biography

Elizabeth Varga is a Licensed Genetic Counseling and Adjunct Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at The Ohio State University. Ms. Varga provides genetic counseling and facilitates genetic testing for patients and families with hereditary blood disorders or suspected hereditary predisposition to cancer. She has an interest in personalized medicine, which involves using an individual's genetics to target medical therapy and provide preventive care. She is a prolific speaker, which greater than 20 invited presentations on a national level and has published more than 15 articles in professional journals. She is also an active member of the National Society of Genetic Counselors, and has participated in advocacy as part of the National Blood Clot Alliance.
