The Behavioral Health Services comprehensive approach to care is provided by a multidisciplinary team – which may include a psychiatrist, developmental-behavioral pediatrician, nurse practitioner, psychologist, clinical social worker, and clinical counselor – to determine the best treatment options for each child and adolescent.
Community Behavioral Health Services are provided at a variety of Nationwide Children’s Close To HomeSM locations throughout the Columbus area. Professional staff, including Masters level social workers and counselors, licensed psychologists and board certified child psychiatrists, have had specialized pediatric training and are experienced in the treatment of children, adolescents and families with mental health concerns.
Community Behavioral Health Services offers diagnostic assessment with recommendations for treatment planning, including individual, family and group therapies for children and adolescents with social, emotional and behavioral difficulties.
