Catherine Butz, PhD, is the Clinical Coordinator of the Pediatric Psychology Program at Nationwide Children's Hospital and a Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Dr. Butz provides services through the Neurology, Rheumatology, and Cardiology sections. She also participates in all levels of training as a clinical supervisor.

  • Dr. Butz has interests in the benefits of pain and stress management as well as comorbidities of chronic conditions. Her past research projects include the impact of headache on emotional functioning, comorbidities among adults with congenital heart defects, and management of procedural distress during burn dressing changes.
