Annual TWIG Bazaar - Sunday, November 13, 2011
The Annual TWIG Bazaar, benefiting Nationwide Children’s Hospital, is the largest, single-day event sponsored by TWIG. The Bazaar will take place Sunday, November 13, 2011 from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. at the Ohio Expo Center - Fairgrounds-Lausche Building. Members spend countless hours crafting both traditional and unique items that include: home décor, seasonal items, children’s collectibles and many other holiday gift ideas. Shoppers can receive an early entrance pass into the event by making a $25 donation to Children’s Hospital. Holiday Cards and Greetings Program
Each year, TWIG sells their annual holiday cards to support various programs at the hospital.  The TWIG holiday cards feature artwork by two young patients - Grace andAlex.   A package of 12 cards and 13 envelopes is available with an inside greeting. Order your holiday online cards now!

Greetings Program - Let us do the work for you!

Honor the holiday season by giving the best gift of all, the gift of hope.  Make a gift in honor of your friends, family and clients while helping the patients and families at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.  For each gift you make, we will send your choice of one of the beautiful cards above notifying the honoree of your generosity and warm wishes.  


Inside Greeting: A gift has been made in your honor to Nationwide Children’s Hospital. We wish you a joyous holiday season and prosperous new year!”

Through the Greetings from Nationwide Children’s Program, a holiday card will be hand signed, addressed and mailed to everyone on your list.  Clients, friends and family members will know that a gift has been given to Nationwide Children’s Hospital in their name.  

To participate in the Greetings from Nationwide Children’s Program, submit the names and addresses of your friends, relatives, service providers and business associates with a check made payable to “Nationwide Children’s Hospital.” A minimum donation of $5.00 per card is required.  All names received by December 2, 2011 will be mailed in time for the holidays. Parade of Homes
Annually, the Builders Industry of central Ohio presents a Parade of Homes in newly established local neighborhoods. Every year, a company is chosen as the Foundation Home Builder. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the homes is donated to Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Members of TWIG serve as hostesses at the Foundation House and other homes during the Parade.

A Taste of the Grape, TWIG 88 Annual Cocktail Party
Join TWIG 88 on Friday, September 9 from 7pm-10pm for a delightful evening of wine sampling paired with delicious cuisine at the historic Bexley home of Dr. Steve and Mrs. Lisa Roach. Tickets are $75 per person. Purchase tickets now! All proceeds benefit the Neurosciences Center at Nationwide Children's Hospital. TWIG Pumpkinpalooza
Enjoy a day of family fun at the second annual TWIG Pumpkinpalooza! The day includes food, hayrides, pumpkin patch, corn maze, bounce houses, games and crafts at Lynd Fruit Farm in Pataskala. Admission is free but there is a charge for the various activities. All proceeds benefit the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Nationwide Children's Hospital.

Projects

Children's Artwork Note Cards
TWIG is proud to unveil the “Children’s Artwork” Note Cards. The artwork is created by four children whom have had a direct experience with Nationwide Children’s Hospital. The masterpieces include the child’s name and age. Contact Cindy Creedon at Foundation at (614) 355-0819 or Trish Butcher (TWIG Notecard Chair) at (614) 794-3585 to purchase a package of note cards containing 12 cards for only $8 per package or two packages for $15!  Proceeds benefit TWIG of Nationwide Children’s Hospital.

Membership Requirements

Requirements
Various TWIG groups are located throughout the central Ohio community. To join a TWIG in your area, please contact  Pam Channel, Membership Chair at (614) 851-0948. Meetings schedules are based on the individual TWIG groups.

All TWIG members must pay membership dues of $10 a year. Click here to pay your 2011 TWIG Membership dues.

Please remember, each TWIG member is required to pay dues of $10 with a personal check or money order.  If the check will cover more than one member's dues, be sure to note on the Enrollment form which members are included in the amount.  Checks should be made payable to TWIG of Nationwide Children's Hospital.
