  • Swabs transported without the use of M4 transport medium

Comments

Lesion specimens should contain cells. Break vesicle and scrape lesion to obtain adequate specimen. Swab specimens must be transported in M4 media. M4 transport media received without the swab may yield reduced sensitivity.
