Testing available for the following solid tumors: Ewing sarcoma(EWS)/PNET EWS-FLI-1 and EWS-ERG fusions [t(11;22)(q24;q12) or t(21;22)(q22;q12]; Alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma (ARMS) PAX3-FOXO1 and PAX7-FOXO1 fusions [t(2;13)(q35;q14) and t(1;13)(p36;q14)]; Synovial sarcoma (SS)SYT-SSX1/SSX2 fusion [t(X;18)(p11.2;q11.2)]; Desmoplastic small round cell tumor (DSRCT) EWS-WT1 fusion [t(11;22)(p13;q12)]; and congenital fibrosarcoma/cellular mesoblastic nephroma (CMN) ETV6-NTRK3 fusion [t(12;15)(p13;q25)]. Fusion partners are confirmed by DNA sequence analysis of the RT-PCR product.
We accept snap-frozen or OCT-embedded tissue. Handle using RNA precautions and transport on dry ice. Paraffin-embedded tissue is NOT accepted for this testing.
Send any available pathology reports, even if preliminary.
