**Urine for this test can only be collected at the following Laboratory Services Centers: Outpatient Lab at the Main Campus, Dublin Methodist Urgent Care Lab, Westerville, East Broad, Hilliard, Newark and Canal Winchester.** This test requires the patient's specimen be added to a urine pyrrole kit from Bio Center Laboratory that contains a specific preservative. The urine must be added to this kit within 15 minutes of collection. Refer to in-lab processing section of this entry to see the instructions. Patient prep: (1) If first time testing for pyrroles, discontinue taking any B6 or Zinc one week prior to collecting specimen. (2) If under treatment for pyrroluria, continue taking vitamin B6 and Zinc
