  • Not submitted in proper transport media
  • Use of urine preservative other than described.

Comments

Must be collected and dropped off at Main Campus only. 24-Hour collection: At beginning of collection have patient void and discard this urine. Begin timing collection at this point and collect all urine until the end of the collection period. Have patient void and save urine at the final collection period. Random samples also acceptable. Record total volume and collection time interval on transport tube and test request form.
