The 2024 Clinical and Scientific Advances in Urinary Tract Infections (UTI) Conference will specifically focus on promoting the next generation of researchers and clinicians. As a result, the conference strives to highlight the accomplishments of junior faculty members and trainees as we bring together medical professionals, biomedical scientists, government agencies, and industrial partners dedicated to eradicating the disease, broadly defined as urinary tract infections. This conference will explore specific manifestations of infection in different patient populations and their sequelae for the discovery of new diagnostic, therapeutic and preventative approaches. As part of a long-term plan for managing urinary tract infections, we also have a training mission to recruit and support early career researchers and those not traditionally represented in medicine and research as they transition into the next generations of experts.
Intended Audience
Any clinical providers who support patients with urinary tract infections (physicians, surgeons, physician extenders, nursing staff), veterinarians, as well as translational and discovery scientists with an interest in urinary tract infection pathogenesis.
