Study for Teen Smokers

We are currently recruiting subjects for a study involving adolescent smokers and non-smokers. The purpose of this study is to better understand the effects of computer training programs that have been shown to improve things like memory and concentration.

The study involves a 2-3 hour lab pre-session at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, where we test for cigarette smoking with a breath sample and a urine sample. You also fill out paper questionnaires and do computer tasks. Following this initial session, you will come to the hospital three times a week for five weeks for about 30 minutes each time to do the computer training program. Following this five week training period, you will come into the lab again and complete the same tasks as the pre-session.

You will be compensated for your time in the research study.
