Each year around the holidays, Nationwide Children’s Hospital receives countless phone calls and emails from the community asking about donating toys to our patients. Well, you asked, so we listened. Nationwide Children’s Hospital will host its first ever Every Gift Matters Great Toy Drop-Off on Saturday, December 8 from 9 a.m. to noon in front of the new main hospital, located at 630 Children’s Drive.
The community is encouraged to drop off new toys and/or children’s books that will be distributed to the patients at Nationwide Children’s this holiday season. The drop-off will take place in front of the new main hospital along Children’s Drive. Volunteers will be on-hand to collect your donation(s).
A gift of toys, games or activity supplies can make a big difference to children and families spending time in the hospital over the holiday season. While we cannot accept food or clothing, here is a list of items we can collect:
We ask that you please do not wrap these gifts. Also, due to concerns regarding infection control and allergies, we cannot accept used toys or stuffed animals. This includes toys or stuffed animals that have never been played with but have been in a home as part of a collection.
