Of Note: National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences Highlights Heart Study

The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) has chosen a Nationwide Children’s publication as one of its Selected Extramural Publications this year.  The NIEHS highlights papers based on their important findings and potential for public health impact.

The selected paper discusses long-term air pollution exposure linked with heart problems, a study by Loren Wold, PhD, principal investigator in the Center for Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Research, which appeared in the July 2012 edition of Circulation: Heart Failure.  View the NIEHS spotlight on this paper.
