James P. Digan has been appointed president of the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Foundation. He brings a wealth of diverse fundraising experience to this role including previous foundation leadership roles at other health systems, foundations and higher education institutions. Digan was most recently president of the Rochester General Foundation, a 650-bed community health system in Rochester, NY. In this position, he oversaw all philanthropy for the system. He also previously served as executive vice president for development and chief advancement officer at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, where his leadership was key to their successful $400 million capital campaign.
