Nationwide Children’s Teen and Pregnant Clinic (TaP) provides prenatal care for young women up to the age of 21 and a half. TaP recently completed a significant expansion by adding new sessions at 500 East Main Street and adding Dr. Kara Malone to the team last fall. TaP also operates a clinic session at South High Close To Home?. Patients at TaP receive care from a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurse practitioners, midwives, nurses, social workers and dietitians who help prepare the patient for a healthy pregnancy and successful parenthood. By involving the entire family, including the dad-to-be, TaP works with many community partners to connect the patient with needed resources. TaP is the only clinic in Central Ohio to provide “CenteringPregnancy” (group prenatal care) to teens. TaP sees patients Monday through Friday with evening hours on Tuesday. To schedule an appointment, contact Central Scheduling at (614) 722-6200 or the TaP Clinic directly at (614) 355-6350.
