Kavitha Kotha, MD, is a physician in Pulmonary Medicine at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and an assistant professor of Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Dr. Kotha completed her fellowship in pediatric pulmonology at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and her residency at Children’s Hospital Medical Center of Akron. She served as chief resident to the pediatric residency program while at Akron Children’s. Dr. Kotha earned her medical degree from the Northeast Ohio Medical University (formerly NEOUCOM) and her bachelor of sciences in natural sciences from the University of Akron. Dr. Kotha is the recipient of a number of awards and grants throughout her educational career, and is a member of various professional societies. She has conducted research projects in pediatric pulmonary medicine including the nutrition and growth of patients living with cystic fibrosis.
