Biography

Jeffrey E. Lutmer, MD is a Critical Care physician at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. He is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. His clinical and research interests lie in the delivery of effective care coordination in the PICU, specifically as it pertains to patients with complex chronic conditions and those in need of palliative care services. Dr. Lutmer also works closely with the surgical burn program to ensure effective interdisciplinary care of the critically ill pediatric burn patients in the PICU. He attended medical school at the University of Toledo and received his Bachelor of Arts in microbiology at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He completed both his residency and pediatric critical care fellowship at Nationwide Children’s. Dr. Lutmer is a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine and the American Burn Association.
