Ashley Nance, MSN, RN, FNP-C, a nurse practitioner, earned her bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology from Ohio Northern University and completed her bachelor’s degree in nursing at East Tennessee State University. She joined Nationwide Children’s in 2007. While working as a staff RN in the cardiology unit, she earned her master’s degree in nursing from Otterbein University (Family Nurse Practitioner Program). Ashley began working as transplant coordinator with the Lung and Heart-Lung Transplant Program in the Pulmonary Department of Nationwide Children’s in 2010. Since that time, she has been certified as a nurse practitioner and had joined the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Program at Nationwide Children’s. Her clinical interests include patient/staff education and transplant evaluation workup.
