The Steiner Family

When Riley was diagnosed with leukemia, her best friends Lauren, Nicole, Sarah and Michelle instantly rallied behind her. The group planned a “Spirit Week” where they sold shirts and wristbands, and collected change at a football game in to raise money. 

With the support of their community, Steiner Strong was able to raise over $8,000 for the Oncology Department at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.

“None of us thought that we would be able to make a difference and pull something off that big,” said Riley’s friend Lauren, “But we did!!”

Steiner Strong proved that everyone has the potential to transform their support for a loved one and truly make a difference in their community.

Digging for Dollars

Lists of names in newspapers inspired Rohith to start Digging for Dollars, a fundraising effort that encourages individuals to donate previously unclaimed funds to charity. Rohith started with seventy five of his personal contacts, which resulted in more than $4,000 donated to the Research Institute at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. His creativity and hard work truly paid off, and inspired others to be charitable
