Williams Syndrome Clinic
The Williams Syndrome Clinic provides diagnostic, treatment and support services to children and adolescents with Williams syndrome and their families.
Our Services
Services may include a comprehensive evaluation with special attention to the unique medical, developmental and behavioral problems experienced by children with Williams syndrome. Referrals to other specialty medical and therapeutic services, as well as a laboratory and radiologic assessments, are arranged as necessary.
- Children birth to age 12 will be scheduled for a full team evaluation.
- Children 13 and older will be scheduled with the developmental behavioral pediatrician and developmental psychologist.
Families will be linked with medical, educational, social and financial support in their communities as indicated, and resources are identified to assist them in meeting the unique needs of their child. A working relationship will be maintained with the child’s primary care physician.
Services are covered by most insurance providers. To expedite insurance coverage, we recommend a referral be sent to the clinic by the patient’s primary care physician. It is also recommended that the family contact their insurance company prior to visiting the clinic.

To refer your child for a new evaluation in the Williams Syndrome Clinic, please call (614) 722-6115.
If your family is in a crisis situation and needs immediate help, please call your county’s mental health crisis number. In Franklin County, Ohio, youth and adolescents 17 and under should call (614) 722-1800. Ages 18 and older should call (614) 276-2273. If outside Franklin County, please call 911 and/or go to your nearest local emergency department.
I requested an appointment. What happens next?
We will send a Clinic Intake Form, complete a brief questionnaire, collect demographic information and answer any initial questions about clinic during the intake call and will ask insurance information. We will then contact the clinic nurse, who will schedule the appointment.
