Comments

Serologic test results alone cannot establish or rule-out the diagnosis of celiac disease. Consult Gastroenterology for follow up on patients whose serology suggests celiac disease or whenever serologic test results do not fit the clinical presentation. See also testing for Endomysial antibodies as an additional serologic marker for celiac disease. This is an IgA Assay.
