Comments

This sensitive procedure is the test of choice for assessing immunity following poliovirus vaccination, as well as for determining the poliovirus serotype responsible for recent poliovirus infection. It can also serve as an aid for diagnosing immune deficiency disorders. Antibody titers to two serotypes of poliovirus are determined. This test is not for Non-vaccine poliovirus exposure.
