Comments

Lab order only. Test is specifically for follow-up testing on patient with previously positive for Shiga Toxin producing E. coli by routine stool culture (STLC). This test detects Shiga toxin produced by all E. coli serotypes, including E.coli 0157:H7. Blood is an unacceptable specimen type.
