Comments

The Blue Citrate tube is the preferred sample type. Serum is not an acceptable specimen type per Blood Center Wisconsin. When collecting the whole blood please refer to the collection instructions provided with the tubes. The samples must be filled to the appropriate line, that is above the minimum fill line and below the maximum fill line, for the test to be viable. Centrifuge citrate tubes according to Lab policy, remove platelet-poor plasma and freeze. Please fill out and submit attached requisition form.
