Comments

Label as convalescent serum. Contact Laboratory Services (800-934-6575) in cases of encephalitis for more rapid turnaround time. Blood should be collected 2 weeks after acute to detect 4 fold increase in IgG titer.This test detects IgG antibody to St. Louis, Western Equine, Eastern Equine and Californa Group (Lacrosse) arboviruses. Patient may be drawn and sample received in lab according to the specimen stability listed, at any time. Laboratory will process and store sample until next scheduled testing date.
