Rohan Thompson, MD, is a member of the Section of Pulmonary Medicine at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. His clinical interests include the evaluation and management of infants, children and adolescents with a variety of respiratory diseases with a special emphasis on asthma, cystic fibrosis, cystic fibrosis newborn screening, and newborn cystic fibrosis care. He is involved in teaching medical professionals at varying levels about pediatric pulmonary care and in physician development courses from the medical school. One of his research interests includes the use of nasal potential differences in the evaluation of patients with cystic fibrosis. Dr. Thompson is Medical Director of Nasal Potential Difference Laboratory and Associate Director of CF Newborn Screening Program.
