Due to the outstanding quality of both the faculty and facilities at The Research Institute at Nationwide Children's Hospital, over 40 Ohio State graduate students currently are conducting their thesis research under the direction of The Research Institute faculty. First-year graduate students are able to do short rotations though The Research Institute laboratories prior to committing to their thesis laboratories. Ohio State students who are interested in seeking mentored training at The Research Institute should review our principal investigators' profiles to identify researchers who may be doing research in an area of interest.
Most of The Research Institute’s scientists are faculty members in the Department of Pediatrics at The Ohio State University and are members of graduate programs at Ohio State including:
- Biomedical Sciences Graduate Program
- Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology Program (MCDB)
- Biophysics Program
- Ohio State Biochemistry Program (OSBP)
- Veterinary Biosciences Program
