Questions about our capabilities?

Viral Vector Core

Andelyn Biosciences’ Viral Vector Core comprises of laboratory space reserved to manufacture research grade AAV vectors that support preclinical studies such as pilot, proof-of-concept, dose confirmation and IND-enabling toxicology studies.

The Vector Core manufactures research grade AAV vectors for both academic institutes and biopharmaceutical clients. These viral vectors are used for preclinical research studies which support the development of future clinical AAV gene therapy products.

At our Vector Core, we use state-of-the-art equipment, time-tested techniques, and advanced design concepts to provide our viral vector development and manufacturing services. Andelyn Biosciences is dedicated to using the latest techniques and tools for both process and analytical development.

Viral Vector Technologies

We specialize in both AAV (Adeno-associated virus) manufacturing for gene therapy applications, as well as lentivirus manufacturing for gene therapy.

That’s not all, though. Using our advanced technology and expertise, Andelyn Biosciences can also help in the creation of many other viral vectors. Our teams have years of experience in providing both lenti process development and GMP production services. We can use stable packaging cell-line based processes, as well as transient transfection processes to develop viral vectors.

We are fully capable of producing vectors with either suspension-based platforms or adherent platforms – and our facility is flexible and versatile enough to address your specific needs, no matter what they may be.
