Adolescent Health Series: "Understanding Adolescent Well-Care Visits"

Sessions in this series are offered in-person and via live webcast. This session will highlight strategies to increase access to and utilization of the preventive adolescent well-care visit. It will discuss practical ways to provide an adolescent-friendly physical environment to appropriately and effectively care for the unique health care needs of adolescents. The components of the well-care visit will be described as well as long-term successful and promising local practices in adolescent health. The session aims to increase awareness of the importance of the well-care visit for this age group and will offer an array of approaches from which adolescent health and social services providers can consider to best fit their local needs and resources. REGISTER HERE.
