TWIG to Host 87th Annual Bazaar

October 16, 2009

In its 87th year, the TWIG Bazaar will offer attendees unique, handcrafted holiday gift items 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, November 15 in the Lausche Building at the Ohio Expo Center. All event proceeds will benefit Nationwide Childrens Hospital.

As the largest, single-day event sponsored by TWIG, a volunteer organization of Nationwide Childrens, the Bazaar will feature handmade items including lighted/decorated trees, jewelry, stationary, holiday ornaments and decorations and much more. In addition, antiques, collectibles and home-baked treats will be available for purchase.

Attendees can receive an early entrance shopping pass to preview and purchase the one-of-a-kind crafts with a $25 donation to the hospital. Patrons can contact Nationwide Childrens Hospital Foundation at (614) 355-0888 to obtain the early shopping pass.

Last year, the TWIG Bazaar welcomed more than 3,000 shoppers to help raise funds to support patient care, education and research at Nationwide Childrens Hospital. TWIG is a dynamic group of central Ohio volunteers that have raised more than $26 million for Nationwide Childrens since their inception in 1916.
