TWIG Bazaar Invites Outside Vendors to Participate In Event for First Time

June 12, 2013

Celebrating the 91st anniversary of the Bazaar this year, TWIG of Nationwide Children’s Hospital is excited to announce they have opened up the event to include and feature the work of outside vendors. The annual fundraising event is slated for Sunday, November 10, 2013 in the Lausche Building at the Ohio Expo Center.

The TWIG Bazaar typically attracts more than 3,000 patrons and is the largest, single-day event sponsored by TWIG. Since their inception, TWIG has raised more than $26 million to support patient care, education and research at Nationwide Children’s.

The Bazaar features handmade items including jewelry, holiday ornaments, decorations and much more. In previous events, the items were all made by TWIG members. In addition to the items for sale, a silent auction, pictures with Santa and delicious holiday treats will round out the event. The “Avenue of Trees and Wreaths” will feature an assortment of decorated trees and wreaths by TWIG members and are available for purchase. All proceeds benefit the areas of greatest need at Nationwide Children’s.

Vendors may apply now to be a part of the 2013 TWIG Bazaar by submitting an artisan application by July 10, 2013. Vendors may obtain an application and can learn more at www.nationwidechildrens.org/twig, or by contacting Nationwide Children’s Hospital Foundation at (614) 355-0888 or Brittany.Keegan@NationwideChildrens.org.
