Nationwide Children’s Hospital will host the 2012 Franklin County Candidates Forum on Children and Youth Friday, October 19, 2012 in the Ann Isaly Wolfe Education Building at Nationwide Children’s, 575 S. 18th St., Columbus 43205. The public is invited to attend this event as well as a free networking breakfast that begins at 7 a.m., followed by the program at 8 a.m.
The public will have the opportunity to hear candidates share their views on issues such as children’s health, education and at-risk youth. Invited candidates include those for U.S. President, U.S. Representatives (Districts 3, 12 and 15), State Senators (District 16), State Representatives (Districts 17-26) and Franklin County Commissioners.
The event, a non-partisan education forum, is sponsored by Action for Children, KidsOhio.org, Voices for Ohio’s Children and Nationwide Children’s Hospital, and supported by numerous community organizations. It will be moderated by Colleen Marshall of WCMH-4, Columbus affiliate of NBC. The event is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to RSVP.
