WHO: Photo and interview opportunities with 
-Nationwide Children’s Hospital Patient Champions, Melanie and Briella, who are currently or have been treated in the hospital’s Hematology/Oncology/Blood Marrow Transplant program. 
Join Melanie and Briella as they make SUBWAY sandwiches during the kick-off event.

WHY: During the month of September, SUBWAY® customers will have an opportunity to donate to Nationwide Children’s by giving $1 or more at checkout. Through the SUBWAY Cares Card® program, donations raised from Sept. 1-Sept. 30 at all Greater Columbus Area SUBWAY® locations will benefit the Hematology/Oncology/Blood Marrow Transplant program at Nationwide Children’s. The philanthropic initiative will support patient families currently undergoing treatment, as well as pediatric cancer research.
