93rd Annual TWIG Bazaar Scheduled for November 8 at Ohio Expo Center

October 12, 2015

Celebrating its 93rd year, the TWIG Bazaar will offer attendees unique, handcrafted gifts created by TWIG members and outside artisans from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8 in the Lausche Building at the Ohio Expo Center. Proceeds will benefit the areas of greatest need at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.

As the largest, single-day event hosted by TWIG, an auxiliary of Nationwide Children’s, the Bazaar features handmade items, including jewelry, holiday ornaments and decorations and the Avenue of Trees and Wreaths. The Bazaar will also include handcrafted items from outside artisans.

In addition, a silent auction, pick-a-prize, attic treasures, pictures with Santa and a delicious holiday pantry will round out the Bazaar. The Avenue of Trees and Wreaths will feature an assortment of beautifully decorated trees and wreaths by TWIG members that will be available for purchase.

Admission to the Bazaar is free, although attendees are encouraged to purchase an early shopping pass for $25. The early shopping pass allows entrance to the Bazaar at 9 a.m., one hour before the doors open to the general public. Patrons may visit NationwideChildrens.org/TWIG to purchase a pass or contact Nationwide Children’s Hospital Foundation at (614) 355-5400.

Last year, the TWIG Bazaar welcomed more than 3,000 shoppers and raised more than $65,000 on behalf of Nationwide Children’s.
