Mobile Care Center
The Nationwide Children’s Mobile Care Center and the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile© (in partnership with Ronald McDonald House Charities©) bring health care to your neighborhood. We have medical equipment and health care providers on board, making it easier for your child to receive care close to school or home.
All insurances, including Medicaid, are accepted. Common locations include schools, child care centers, churches, community events and family shelters.
Pediatric primary care services include:
- Helping when your child has a sore throat, bad cough, earache, headache
- Giving shots
- Doing blood work
- Performing checkups
- Sending medication to the pharmacy
- Providing sports physicals
- Treating asthma
- Helping with work permit physicals
- Testing for pregnancy or sexually transmitted infections
- Providing education on birth control
- And more
These services are not meant to replace your pediatrician or family doctor. When your child has any medical need, your first call should always be to your child’s pediatrician or family doctor who knows your child best.
