Mejorando la supervivencia y la calidad de supervivencia en niños con tumores del sistema nervioso central en paises de ingresos bajos y medianos es un desafio difícil en la oncología global.  La neuro-oncología pediatrica requiere un trabajo multidisciplinario que frecuentemente no es de fácil acceso. Queremos ayudar a romper estas barreras y una de las formas en que trabajamos esto es semanalmente atraves de conferencias tele-neuro-oncologicas (sobre la red: cure4kids.org).  Revisamos casos en tiempo real y discutimos opciones de manejo. 

Ademas, aqui en esta pagina web, pronto tendremos un portal con presentaciones educativas sobre diferentes tumores cerebrales y su manejo!  Hasta pronto!

Improving the survival and quality of survival for children with central nervous system tumors in low- and middle-income countries is a difficult challenge in global oncology. The field of pediatric neuro-oncology requires a multidisciplinary approach that often is not easily accessible.  We want to help break down these barriers, and one of those ways we are working on this endeavor is through weekly tele- neuro- oncological conferences ( on the following site: cure4kids.org ).  We review cases in real-time and discuss management options.
