Kilbourne Society

Colonel and Mrs. James Kilbourne were among the founders of Nationwide Children’s Hospital in 1892. Col. Kilbourne served as the first board president. The Kilbourne Society is named in their honor to recognize special friends who have made planned or deferred gifts to Nationwide Children’s Hospital. With planned or deferred gifts, there is a chance that we may not know about the gifts in time to thank the supporters personally. The Kilbourne Society is designed to provide special, personal recognition to this special group of friends. We encourage donors to notify Nationwide Children’s Hospital Foundation if they have made or are considering a planned or deferred gift.
