Biography
Judith Winterwood, NNP has been an RN since 1979, advanced practice since 1986, and became a certified as NNP in 1991. She received her MS from The Ohio State University. Judith is a member of Sigma Theta Tau and an International exchange participant at Hadassah Medical Center in Jeruselum, Israel. Her previous experience includes adult ICU, adult air transport, infant cardio-thoracic ICU, nurse manager, neonatal-pediatric transport team, pediatric emergency room, and Med-kids transport program. Judith has also worked as a NNP at Nationwide Children's main campus, Mount Carmel Health system, and Riverside Methodist Hospital (RMH). She currently works at the Nationwide Children's NICU at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Her special interests include palliative care, delivery room thermoregulation, central line maintenance/CLABSI reduction, volume guarantee ventilation/BPD reduction, NNP staff scheduling and NRP instructor.
