Biography

Judith Groner, MD, is a Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the Ohio State University College of Medicine, and practices pediatrics in the Section of Ambulatory Pediatrics, Nationwide Children's Hospital.  Dr. Groner is the Program Director of the Academic General Pediatrics Fellowship at Nationwide Children's.  She teaches general pediatrics to pediatric residents at the Near East Primary Care Center.  She also provides direct patient care and is a member of the asthma quality improvement team.

Dr. Groner's research and advocacy area of expertise is in tobacco control and pediatric obesity.  She is currently the Chair of the Section on Tobacco Control, American Academy of Pediatrics.  She has been funded by the American Academy of Pediatrics Julius Richmond Center of Excellence, the NIH, and the American Lung Association among many funders. She has had over 25 peer reviewed publications in her area of expertise.
