Biography

Jennifer Aldrink, MD's surgical interests focus on pediatric and adolescent surgical oncology, including chest and abdominal solid tumors such as neuroblastoma, Wilms tumor, ovarian tumors, sarcoma, melanoma, thyroid cancer, and metastatic disease. She is the director of Surgical Oncology, a member of the Thyroid Disease team and the Pigmented Skin Lesion team. She is a graduate of the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University and completed her general surgery residency at Duke University Medical Center. Dr. Aldrink completed a fellowship in pediatric surgery at Nationwide Children's Hospital.

Dr. Aldrink is a member of the Children's Oncology Group (COG), and participates actively on the Renal Tumor Committee, Surgical Committee, and Rare Tumor Committee. She is a member of the Society of Surgical Oncology, International Society of Pediatric Surgical Oncology, the Pediatric Surgical Oncology Research Collaborative, and the Cancer Committee of the American Pediatric Surgical Association. She is also a member of The American College of Surgeons, The Society of University Surgeons, American Academy of Pediatrics and American Pediatric Surgical Association.
