Education and Training

The Center for Injury Research and Policy (CIRP) has a variety of education and training programs. By educating students from high school through post-graduate levels, as well as international scholars, CIRP’s programs generate global interest in injury prevention and train the future leaders in our field.

China Injury Research

This project seeks to develop the capacity of Chinese scholars to address agricultural injury prevention, as well as develop collaborative research on agricultural injuries between Chinese and U.S. investigators. In order to achieve this goal, short-term training of Chinese scholars in agricultural injury research is being conducted in both the United States and in agricultural regions of China. The specific aims of the training project are being achieved using a variety of training mechanisms designed for scientists who represent diverse academic disciplines.
