About

The Comprehensive Hemophilia and Bleeding Disorder Treatment Center at Nationwide Children's is the largest and only federally recognized pediatric Hemophilia Treatment Center (HTC) in Central Ohio. Other innovative programs and clinics include the Dublin Young Women’s Hematology ClinicAnticoagulation Clinic and the Adolescent and Young Adult Sickle Cell Clinic. In addition we participate with the Ohio Department of Health to ensure appropriate care for our newborn patients who are screened for hemoglobinopathies. Our goal is for all of our patients to have the option of enrolling in clinical trials.

Not only can you take comfort in knowing you have the best medical care for your loved one, we also want to be sure your experience is as simplified as possible. We collaborate closely with the Oncology and Blood and Marrow Transplant (BMT) teams and offer Care Coordinator Service. If your child needs multidisciplinary care, our Care Coordinator nurse will schedule appointments for you so you can stay focused on your child.  Every attempt will be made to have appointments scheduled with everyone you need to see at once so you don’t have to make multiple visits. Your Care Coordinator, along with our world-class hematology team of experts, will put you on the right treatment path for your child.
