Biography
Guliz Erdem, MD, is a member of the Section of Infectious Diseases at Nationwide Children's Hospital. Her clinical interests focused on pediatric infectious disease. Dr. Erdem obtained her medical degree in Ankara, Turkey at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine and completed her residency at Hacettepe University Children's Hospital and University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine. For her fellowship, Dr. Erdem studied at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. She has been involved in a series of organizations, some of which are Society for Pediatric Research and the Infectious Diseases Society of America. Dr. Erdem has also received the grants from NIH ‘s Centers of Biomedical Research Excellence and American Heart Association.
